£435 - £465 Per Week
Monday – Friday (Full time, Temporary to Permanent)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with Learning Disabilities and Challenging behaviours to work to the best of their ability in order to make the most of their education and learning. You will assist and encourage the young adults to take part in all activities and tasks carried out by the school including physical activity, lessons and crafts. The young people will have needs such as autism, developmental language disorder, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, EBD, ADHD, PMLD, SLD and moderate learning difficulties. This role can be very rewarding for somebody who is wanting to make a positive impact on a young person’s life.

Requirements
To be considered for the SEND Teaching Assistant position, you will have:
• Previous experience of working with behaviours that challenge is highly desirable
• An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or the willingness to apply for one
• The ability to work on initiative and proactively
• The desire to work with young people with special educational needs
• A driving licence and car or accessible public transport links.
• Available Monday to Friday
