At Vision for Education, we are pleased to be working with a fantastic school who are part of a high-achieving and established trust of schools in Essex and East London. This 11-18 school with Sixth Form, is seeking a passionate Social Science Teacher who is seeking a new role for January 2025.
The school is looking for a Social Science Teacher who can teach Psychology and Sociology to GCSE and A-Level. You will be supported by your Head of department, with opportunities for leadership roles available for the right candidate. Social Science Teachers must have an excellent knowledge of their subject as you will be teaching GCSE and A-Level classes where possible. As a Social Science Teacher you will be teaching in outstanding classrooms with excellent resources and facilities. Offering free on-site parking and a free gym membership, you will have access to the state-of-the-art gym.
Students are encouraged to pursue their passions beyond the classroom and into University and the wider world. Around 25% of the school cohort are pupil premium, and the school has excellent initiatives to ensure those pupils can achieve their dreams.
Requirements
The desired Social Science Teacher will have;
- Empathy and the ability to inspire the next generation of learners
- Knowledge of UK Curriculum and the ability to teach students how to problem-solve
