Vision for Education is seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our Special Educational Needs School in Bristol to work on a full time basis.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications

About the role:

  • Working with students with additional needs
  • Deliver support and help where needed as a Support Worker.
  • You will be under the instruction of the class teacher but have to work on your own initiative too.
  • Ideal for people seeking flexible work, as the cover for these sessions is required on an ad-hoc basis.

About you:

To be considered for the Support Worker position, you will:

  • Have previous experience working with children or young adults with a range of abilities and special educational needs.
  • Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with young people.
  • Have a passion for imporving the lives
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
