About the role
Would you relish the opportunity to share your knowledge, skills and passion for the subject with bright young individuals? We are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of History to share their skill set with our client secondary schools and join our team of committed supply staff, around the Wigan and surrounding areas.
About the school
Vision for Education thrive in supporting secondary schools in Wigan by providing quality History and wider Humanities lessons for the children of the future. We work with most of the Secondary Schools and Sixth Form Colleges across Manchester and further afield for those who may be happy to travel. Additionally, our schools support our teaching staff so they can be the best they can be and make a difference on a daily or long-term basis. Requirements
- Be a passionate and innovative Teacher of History with experience teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3), Key Stage 4 (KS4) and/or Key Stage 5 (KS5).
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of secondary teachers who put children at the heart of everything they do.
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
- Have high expectations of students and staff alike.
About Vision for Education
Salary
£100 to £165 per day
- Recent experience teaching within a secondary school in the last 2 years for at least 2 weeks.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status - QTS or QTLS
