Vision for Education are seeking to recruit a dedicated and passionate Teacher of SEND to work within a special school in the Newcastle upon Tyne Local Authority.

About the role

The successful candidate will be delivering an engaging curriculum to KS3 and KS4 students, who have a range of additional needs.

The school boasts a motivated and enthused work force, who work extremely hard to provide the best standard of nurtured support and education to their students. The school caters for students with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of SEND you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience working with SEND
  • Have a compassionate and nurturing approach to work
  • Be comfortable dealing with challenging behaviours

Salary

£105 to £210 per day

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Teaching experience
