We are looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic team within a Primary setting.

About the role

These individuals have to be able to think and deliver high quality support using their own initiative when working on a 1:1 basis as well as having time as part of a class team. You need to be able to create resources and adapt materials with the pupil’s interests in mind so pupils will be engaged in learning plans suggested by the Class Teacher, Inclusion Manager and outside agencies. You will be expected to implement suggestions and strategies, monitor the learning plan and be responsive to pupils needs with flexibility, sensitivity and an awareness of the skills needed to effectively support pupils. Experience with Thrive or other SEND strategies is desirable.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
  • - Enhanced DBS ( on update service)
  • - Level 3 in childcare or equivalent
  • - Experience with 1:1 setting

Salary

£65 to £75 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • - Previous experience within Primary
