Vision for Education is a leading education recruitment agency that works closely with primary, secondary and SEN schools across Kent. We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in a friendly and welcoming primary school in Dartford.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and dedicated individual who is keen to inspire and support children from all backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and previous experience working within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside class Teachers to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom resources, and create a stimulating classroom setting to enhance children’s learning
- Support in assessing and documenting children’s progress, fostering a learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential, regardless of their ability
- Be passionate about making learning fun and putting the child first
- Display high level of professionalism and integrity, and promote and safeguard the welfare of all children in line with the school’s safeguarding procedures
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an education setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
