We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Teaching Assistant who is keen to inspire and support children in a mainstream classroom. The ideal candidate will have motivated to provide positive learning experiences and outcomes for all pupils and ideally have experience working within an educational setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside class teachers to support students in their academic journey, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons for students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with varying learning needs.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Support the teacher in maintaining an organised and effective classroom.
- Work closely with other staff to assess and monitor students' progress.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children, ideally within a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, positive attitude with a passion for supporting children’s learning.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience with special educational needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential.
- A commitment to ensuring all children can reach their full potential.
