Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Sevenoaks. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in classroom support to make a real difference in pupils’ learning and development.
About the Role:
- Work closely with class teachers to support children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs
- Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and activities
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Help track progress and provide constructive feedback to the teacher
About You:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting (essential)
- Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, encouraging presence
- Understanding of the primary curriculum and strategies for supporting SEN
- A proactive and flexible attitude
- A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
