About the School:
This one-form entry primary school, catering for children aged 4 to 11, is at the heart of the local community and part of a well-regarded multi-academy trust with schools across the Maidstone area. The school boasts modern, spacious facilities, set in generous outdoor grounds with well-equipped sports and play areas that enrich every child’s educational experience.
The school also houses a Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) designated for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The inclusive ethos and nurturing environment ensure that every child, regardless of need or background, is supported to thrive.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs, including to those within the SRP.
- Help create an engaging, inclusive and safe learning environment.
- Support pupils’ emotional and social development.

About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
- Is patient, empathetic, and adaptable.
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs, especially ASD.
- Holds (or is willing to work towards) a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
