Are you a passionate and resilient Year 3 Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive school environment?
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated teacher to join a primary school in Chatham, working with a class that has high SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
About the Role:
- Full-time teaching role in a Year 3 class with high SEMH needs
- Create a nurturing and structured learning environment to support students' emotional and academic development
- Work closely with SEND specialists, teaching assistants, and external agencies to provide tailored support
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons following the National Curriculum, adapted to suit students' needs
- Promote positive behaviour strategies and a trauma-informed approach to teaching
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs or additional SEND support is highly desirable
- A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- Passionate about making a difference in children’s lives
