The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join this welcoming school from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working in a supportive, community-focused school and is passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching to a Year 4 class, maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity for pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support learning
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to support all learners
  • Communicate effectively with parents and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to high standards of teaching and learning

Salary

£140 to £224 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Individual's level of experience and qualification
