About Vision for Education

Vision for Education has specialised in placing great teachers, support and leadership staff in temporary and permanent roles across the country since 2008. We’re part of The Edwin Group and work closely with our sister companies (ABC Teachers, Smart Teachers and Commando Joe’s) to make a positive impact in education.

Our approach to doing business is different to most of our competitors. We don’t focus on setting endless performance and sales call targets - we prefer our staff to concentrate on developing close working relationships with teachers and schools to ensure we understand their needs.

Our roles

Recruitment consultants Our consultants provide temporary & permanent recruitment services to schools. They establish & maintain longstanding relationships with schools, to help ensure they place the right candidate in the right school. As well as managing supply bookings, consultants work alongside resourcers to recruit teachers & support staff.
Resource consultants Our resourcers help attract new candidates to register with us. They assess candidates’ suitability and support them through the registration process, whilst ensuring all the necessary vetting and clearance checks are completed. Resourcers also support the branch with managing supply bookings.
Branch managers Our branch managers are responsible for leading & managing their team to achieve optimum performance & growth alongside running their own desk. We have branches across the country. Depending on the size of the branch, our branch managers are either responsible for an individual division (primary, secondary or SEND) or all divisions.
Support staff Our branches are supported by our head office teams, who provide vital safeguarding, IT, finance, payroll, marketing , HR & training services.
Senior leaders Our senior leaders provide strategic direction to our branches & support teams & monitor performance, to help drive success & growth across business. They ensure we are delivering quality services which are in line with national guidelines, & are responsible for managing our financial resources effectively & liaising with our Board.

Testimonials

We’re proud of what our
staff say about us

Vision for Education has a strong ethos for caring for everyone - staff, schools and candidates, which shows through on everything they do. Everyone is so supportive, dedicated and genuinely cares about their jobs. I've experienced many opportunities to progress and have been promoted from a Trainee consultant to a Recruitment consultant.

Abby Hnatyszyn,
Recruitment Constultant

From day one, I've felt like part of the team and have always been able to ask any questions to learn, grow or progress. The role is rewarding because of the clients and candidates we help, and each day brings variety and new challenges.

Matthew Paul,
Branch Manager

I truely have secured the golden ticket working for Vision for Education. With what can often be a highly demanding job, we have a seamless collaborative approach. I'm engaged and excited to be working for such a brilliant company that has great plans for future growth, but still celebrates individual successes no matter how big or small the win is.

Emilia Fagan,
Recruitment consultant

To come into an office everyday and be surrounded by collegues who feel like friends and to be supported and listened to, is invaluable. When I joined Vision for Education, they were a small company with big ideas, a fantastic ethos and a family feel. We've grown and made those big ideas happen; yet the ethos and the family feel has never changed.

Donna Nicholson,
Resource Consultant
