Care to Classroom Assistant

About the role

Vision for Education are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care to Classroom Support Support Worker to work within a SEND Setting in Evesham.

The role –

Care to Classroom Support Workers are required across specialist SEND and SEMH schools in Worcestershire, supporting pupils with complex needs, autism and behavioural difficulties. This role is ideal for candidates from care, residential or support work backgrounds looking to transition into education. You will support pupils with personal care, behaviour management and classroom engagement within structured and supportive school environments.

Requirements

The desired Care to Classroom Support Worker will have;

  • Experience in care, residential or support settings
  • A willingness to support personal care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A calm, resilient and proactive approach
  • A passion for supporting children and young people with SEND

About you:

To be considered for the Care to Classroom Support Worker, you will:

Hold suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.

Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students

Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
