An exceptionally rare position has arisen within a reputable independent school in Camden. This popular, over-subscribed setting is seeking Computing Teacher on a part-time basis , September 2026 on a 1 year contract.
The successful candidate will work closely with Head of department to ensure that Children from Reception – Year 4 receive a comprehensive and relevant computing experience. Duties involve but are not limited to:
- Planning and assessment
- Tracking of progress and standards
- Pioneering of new developments and technological advances that will enhance the learning experience for the boys
- Acting as an ambassador for IT/computing across the school, raising its profile
The school is located in the heart of Camden, and boasts high-end resources and facilities. The successful candidate will benefit from working alongside a dedicated team of professionals with well-equipped classrooms and highly engaged children.
The role is 3 days a week (days to be confirmed)
Experience and training needed for this role include:
Previous experience as an Computing Teacher
An understanding of the expectations required when teaching in the independent sector
Qualified Teacher Status
A commitment to supporting learners both academically and pastorally
