The School and Role

Vision for Education is looking for a dependable Cover Supervisor to keep learning on track when teachers are absent. You'll take charge of classrooms with calm authority, manage behaviour confidently, and keep students focused and settled.

No two days look the same — you could be with a Year 7 maths group in the morning and a Year 10 science class after lunch. It's a great way to build real classroom experience, whether you're exploring a route into teaching or simply enjoy working with young people.

Requirements

The ideal Cover Supervisor will have:

• A genuine desire to be part of a committed team of education professionals
• A passion for working with young people
• Confidence and a calm presence in front of a class
• An interest in working in the education sector

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum required for this position is:

• Experience working with groups of children, or a willingness to complete our training programme

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
