Vision for Education are currently recruiting for Teachers of Dance who are looking for day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply opportunities in Lancaster and the surrounding areas.
About the role
Are you a qualified Dance Teacher looking for a new role? Are you looking for flexibility or a better work/life balance? We are always looking to speak to teachers for day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply, whether you are available 1 day a week or full-time.
The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities.
You will be required to cover and teach Dance lessons within local Secondary schools and colleges across Lancaster and the surrounding areas. To fill up your timetable, you may also be required to provide some PE, Sports and general classroom cover. We will offer a FREE training course to help you adapt to working within the classroom and managing behaviour effectively.
About the schools
Vision for Education work with a wide range of schools and colleges across Lancaster, Lancashire and the surrounding areas, including Morecambe, Carnforth, Garstang and Preston. Our schools provide a welcoming and supportive environment for supply teachers, with opportunities to work across a variety of settings.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teacher of Dance, you will:
- Have experience teaching Dance to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary teachers.
- Have a passion for teaching, with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
- Be willing to undertake some PE, Sports and general classroom cover where required.
