Are you a qualified Dance Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? Are you looking to join an Outstanding school where you can inspire and engage students through Dance? This could be the perfect role for you.
The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan and deliver innovative, engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of students with a variety of abilities.
You will be required to teach Dance lessons within this highly regarded secondary school in Lancaster. There may also be opportunities to support with PE, sports and general classroom cover where required. We will offer a FREE training course to help you adapt to working within the classroom and managing behaviour effectively.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teacher of Dance you will:
- Have experience teaching Dance to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary teachers.
- Have a passion for teaching, with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring and engaging lessons.
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
