About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience, secure flexible teaching work, or find the right school to begin their teaching career.
As a Secondary Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons within your subject specialism
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment
- Support students’ academic progress and wellbeing
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
- Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers
Your teacher training, subject expertise, and enthusiasm for education will enable you to thrive in this role. Strong communication, organisation, classroom management, and the ability to inspire young people are essential skills within a secondary school setting.
About the Schools
We work with a wide range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Staffordshire, including schools in Stafford, Cannock, Lichfield, Burton upon Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stone, Leek, Uttoxeter, and surrounding areas.

Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS
- Experience working with children or young people through placements, voluntary work, or previous employment
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A professional, reliable, and proactive approach
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
Salary is dependent on experience, training, and qualifications.
