A Typical Day

Joining an established room team, from babies through to pre-school

Leading play, stories and activities that build language and confidence

Helping with snack, lunch, sleep and personal care

Keeping the room safe, calm and welcoming

Heading home when the shift ends, with no learning journeys or paperwork to take with you

What Helps

Experience in a nursery, pre-school or Early Years room

A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification

Paediatric First Aid (important for Level 3 bookings)

Warmth, reliability and patience

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or happy to apply for one
