Billericay Secondary Schools are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to join supportive and ambitious school teams from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers who are committed to delivering engaging lessons and fostering a love of literature and language in students.
The Role:
- Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
- Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
- Monitoring student progress and supporting attainment
- Contributing to the wider English department and school community
- Full-time permanent contract starting September 2026
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
- A passion for education and student achievement
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
