First Aid Officer – School Based (Temporary)

£95.27 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Vision for Education are recruiting for a dedicated and reliable School First Aider to work in a welcoming school in Bridlington. This is a full-time, temporary position, working 5 days per week from September.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of pupils and staff, providing first aid treatment and maintaining accurate records in line with school policies.
The role
The successful First Aider will:
- Provide first aid support to pupils, staff and visitors.
- Assess injuries and illnesses, administering appropriate first aid where required.
- Maintain accurate records of all first aid incidents and treatments.
- Liaise with parents/carers and emergency services when necessary.
- Ensure first aid supplies are fully stocked and equipment is maintained.
- Support the school in promoting a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will:
- Hold a Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work in Schools qualification (essential).
- Hold a Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable).
- Have previous experience working as a first aider, ideally within a school or education setting.
- Be organised, calm under pressure and able to respond confidently to emergencies.
- Have excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
