Job Title: KS2 Class Teacher
Location: Peterborough (or surrounding area)
Start Date: 1st Sept or sooner
Salary: (£163 – £224 per day)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join this welcoming school in the Peterborough area. The role starts in September but the school are open to applications from candidates that can start sooner. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working in a supportive, community-focused school and is passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching, maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity for pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support learning
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to support all learners
• Communicate effectively with parents and the wider school community

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to high standards of teaching and learning

Salary

£163 to £224 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
