Vision for Education are working in partnership with a well-established primary school in Coventry to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their Lower KS2 team, teaching a Year 4 class from September 2026.
This is a full-time position offered on an initial one-year contract, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate. The role
As the Year 4 class teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that support pupils’ academic and personal development. You’ll be working alongside an experienced and collaborative Lower KS2 team, giving you the opportunity to build confidence and refine your classroom practice.
The school places strong emphasis on supporting ECTs, ensuring you receive regular mentoring, feedback, and access to professional development throughout your induction year.

Requirements
To be considered, you will:
- Hold, or be on track to achieve, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Be an Early Career Teacher looking to complete your induction
- Have a passion for teaching within Lower KS2
- Be able to provide references covering the last two years (including placements)
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service
- Have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Salary will be dependent on experience, training, or qualifications, with a minimum requirement of a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE with QTS).
