The run-up to half term is the busiest stretch of the year for cover in primary schools. Progress meetings, ECT release time, parents' evenings, courses and the first bugs of the term all land at once, and Stoke schools need KS2 teachers they can rely on.
Vision For Education is looking for KS2 teachers for day-to-day supply, short blocks and longer-term cover across Stoke-on-Trent, Years 3 to 6.
What the Work Looks Like

Day-to-day cover with plans left for you

Teaching the lesson, keeping the class on track, and leaving a short note for the class teacher

No marking, no data drops and no meetings on day-to-day bookings

Short blocks and longer-term cover when you want consistency with one class

Schools across ST1–ST6 and Newcastle-under-Lyme
Pay and What Comes With It

£650–£800 a week for a full-time five-day week (£130–£160 a day, depending on experience and the role), with flexible days paid for the days you work

Weekly pay through PAYE

You choose your days, from one a week to full time

A consultant on the phone from 6:30 every morning, so you hear about tomorrow's work the night before wherever possible

Most of our teachers find one or two schools they like, and those schools start asking for them by name
You'll Need

QTS (or QTLS)
-
KS2 teaching experience, whether from placements, a class of your own or supply

Calm, confident behaviour management with a class you've just met
-
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to get one

The right to work in the UK
ECTs welcome. We'll be straight with you about which placements count towards your induction and which don't.
Returning to teaching? Day-to-day supply is a good way back in, and we'll start you somewhere friendly.
