About the Role
Vision for Education are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to work on a part-time basis within a welcoming primary school in the TS12 area.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate teacher to provide PPA cover across Years 3–6, delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of Key Stage 2 year groups.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lessons while supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. You will be confident adapting your teaching to meet the needs of different year groups, abilities, and learning styles.
The role will commence in November 2026 and offers an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a flexible part-time position within a supportive primary school.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality PPA cover across Years 3–6.
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils across different year groups and abilities.
- Support pupils' development in reading, writing, mathematics, and wider curriculum subjects.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress where appropriate.
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to become confident and independent learners.
- Establish positive relationships with pupils across different classes and year groups.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers, teaching assistants, and wider school staff.
- Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour, and personal development.
- Follow existing planning and school expectations where required.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and support school policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2, particularly across Years 3–6, is desirable.
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 primary curriculum.
- Confidence teaching across different year groups and adapting lessons accordingly.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- A caring, patient, flexible, and proactive approach.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Availability for part-time PPA cover from November 2026.
