  • Establish positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents, and carers.

  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and resilience.

  • Use effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Support pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2 and develop greater independence in their learning.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and school leaders.

  • Adapt teaching approaches and resources to support pupils with additional learning needs.

  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and uphold the school's values and expectations.

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • The ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual pupils' needs.

  • Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
