KS2 Teaching Assistant - (Full-time, Temporary)

The School and Role

A First School based in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team. The successful applicant will be working in a vibrant Year 4 class, working alongside the class teacher to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role will include a mix of general and 1:1 support throughout the week and previous experience of working within KS2 is essential for this role.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:

- Have experience of working within KS2.

- Hold a Level 2 Teaching Qualification or above.

- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.

- Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
