About the Role:
Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work within a welcoming primary school in Harlow. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in their learning and development, both in the classroom and through targeted 1:1 or small group support.
The successful candidate will play an important role in helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Provide support for pupils with additional needs, including SEN
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Assist with classroom preparation and general duties
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children (school-based or transferable experience)
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) – desirable but not essential
