Vision for Education is looking for a caring, confident and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive school from October 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils who benefit from additional support with their learning and development.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs
- Adapt activities and learning materials to meet individual needs
- Support pupils with their engagement, confidence and behaviour
- Work closely with teachers and other school staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally
We're Looking For Someone Who:
✓ Is patient, positive and adaptable
✓ Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
✓ Can confidently support pupils with a range of needs and behaviours
✓ Is passionate about helping young people reach their potential
✓ Has previous SEND experience – desirable, but not essential
✓ Can provide suitable references and complete an Enhanced DBS check
