Vision for Education are looking for enthusiastic, caring and committed Learning Support Assistants to work across welcoming schools in Thurrock and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Work closely with teachers and school staff to support pupils in and outside the classroom.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND.
• Help pupils develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
• Assist with classroom activities and learning.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage their engagement in learning.
• Promote a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Caring, patient and approachable.
• Passionate about working with children.
• Reliable and committed.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Confident supporting children with different learning needs.
• Ideally experienced working in a school or education setting, although this is not essential.

Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN Support Worker, Youth Worker and Nursery Practitioner experience would all be considered.
