About the Role

Vision for Education is looking for a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Romford.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, whether you’re experienced or looking to build on your current TA qualifications.

You will work closely with the class teacher to help pupils access learning and make progress in a supportive classroom environment.

✏️ Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Assist with classroom activities and learning resources
• Support children with additional needs where required (SEN support may be included)
• Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment
• Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and progress

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
