Colchester Secondary Schools are seeking enthusiastic and committed Maths Teachers to join supportive and ambitious school teams from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers who are committed to delivering engaging lessons and helping students build confidence and achievement in mathematics.
The Role:
- Teaching Maths across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
- Planning and delivering high-quality and engaging lessons
- Supporting student progress and attainment
- Contributing to the wider Maths department and school community
- Full-time permanent contract starting September 2026
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
- A passion for education and student success
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
