We are currently recruiting Maths Teachers in Telford to work across a range of secondary schools in the area.

About the Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons either in the absence of the regular teacher or as part of a longer-term placement. You will support students in developing their mathematical understanding and analytical skills while maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5)
• Encourage student engagement and confidence in Mathematics
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies
• Assess and monitor student progress where required
• Provide feedback to teaching staff and departments

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Mathematics in UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability across different school environments
• A genuine passion for Maths and student development
