About the role
Nursery Practitioners & Nursery Assistants – Stoke-on-Trent
£14.24 to £16.15 an hour · Paid weekly · You pick the days you work
Nursery work across Stoke, and you could start this week.
If you are in a nursery now, you already know the job. What you might not have is a say in your own week, or your money in every Friday.
I book between 20 and 40 nursery days a week across Stoke and I have not got enough people. Day nurseries, pre-schools and school nursery units, from Tunstall down to Longton and most places in between.
What you get
-
£14.24 to £16.15 an hour – around £92.56 to £110 a day
-
Paid weekly, every week
-
You choose your days. One a week, three, or full time. Say no whenever you need to
-
Settings close to home across ST1 to ST6. You are not getting sent halfway across the county
-
Day-to-day work, block bookings, or a longer placement if you would rather stay put
-
Free training through the Edwin Group if you fancy working towards your Level 4 or 5
Who I am after
Level 3 in Early Years or Childcare is ideal. It counts towards ratio, so it opens up the most work and the best rates.
But if you are Level 2, still studying, or you have got years behind you and no certificate, apply anyway. I book nursery assistants every week, and plenty of people have qualified while working with us.
You will need a DBS on the Update Service, or to be happy getting one. I will sort that with you. Paediatric first aid is handy, not essential.
Straight with you
You will not be sent anywhere without being told exactly what you are walking into.
You will not be left waiting on a call that never comes.
And I am not going to promise you five days and give you one.
One person looking after you, who knows these nurseries and picks the phone up at seven in the morning when something changes.
How to Apply
Apply through this website with an up-to-date CV and your contact details.
Not got a CV to hand? Send your name and number instead and I will give you a ring – we can do the rest over the phone.
