At Vision For Education, we're recruiting qualified Primary Teachers to support local schools with day-to-day supply, short-term cover and regular teaching opportunities.

The autumn and winter terms are particularly busy for primary schools. Staff illness, training days, assessments and seasonal events all create demand for reliable teachers who can step into the classroom and keep learning on track.

You tell us when you're available, and we'll work to find schools that suit your schedule and location.

Whether you're looking for a couple of days to supplement your income or regular work throughout the week, we'd love to hear from you.

What Does the Work Involve?

• Day-to-day supply teaching in primary schools across South Birmingham.

• Teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, from Reception to Year 6.

• Delivering lessons that are typically planned and prepared for you.

• Covering teacher absence, staff training days and short-term vacancies.

• Regular PPA cover and short-term teaching blocks for those who prefer consistency.

• Opportunities for repeat bookings and longer-term placements in schools where you're a great fit.

Locations include:

Solihull, Kings Heath, Kings Norton, Acocks Green, Moseley, Fordbridge, Lyndon Green, Harbourne, Selly Oak, Northfield, Rubery and many more....

We'll aim to match you with schools close to home wherever possible.

Pay and Benefits

• £130–£200 per day, depending on experience and placement.

• £260–£1000 per week, based on two to five working days.

• Weekly pay through PAYE.

• Flexible working: Choose two, three, four or five days per week, subject to available bookings.

• Day-to-day, short-term and regular supply opportunities.

• Reduced planning, marking and administrative responsibilities on day-to-day supply placements.

• No routine responsibility for reports or parents' evenings on typical daily cover assignments.

• Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) compliance.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised QTLS with eligibility to teach in primary schools.

• Primary classroom experience, including training placements for ECTs.

• Good classroom management and communication skills.

• A positive, professional and adaptable approach.

• Reliability and the ability to travel to schools across South Birmingham.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

• The right to work in the UK.
