Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Worker to work in a specialist school in Birmingham.

About the Role:

• Provide pastoral, emotional, and behavioural support to pupils, enabling them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive educational and personal outcomes.
• Develop positive, trusting relationships with pupils and deliver one-to-one and small group interventions that promote wellbeing, confidence, emotional regulation, and social development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, safeguarding leads, SEND staff, and families to support pupils' attendance, behaviour, wellbeing, and overall personal development.
• From September, contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where all pupils feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.About the School:

About You:

• Experience working with children or young people who display challenging behaviour, SEMH needs, Autism, or ADHD.
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach with the ability to build positive relationships quickly.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Passionate about supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes and reach their potential.
• Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Support Worker, or in a similar role is desirable.
