Are you a passionate and enthusiastic PE Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity from September 2026? We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring educator to join a supportive secondary school team, where you will play a key role in promoting health, fitness, and a lifelong love of sport.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will be committed to helping students achieve their full potential, both academically and personally, while contributing to the wider life of the school through extracurricular sports and activities.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that inspire students of all abilities.
- Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage participation in sport and physical activity across the school.
- Support students' academic and personal development.
- Contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and sporting events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is due to achieve QTS by September 2026.
- Has a strong subject knowledge and passion for Physical Education.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
- Can motivate and engage learners of varying abilities.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Has a positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
