PE Teacher – Alternative Provision, North Bristol
Vision for Education is seeking an enthusiastic and resilient PE Teacher to join a welcoming Alternative Provision (AP) in North Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to support young people who thrive in a more personalised learning environment, using sport and physical activity to build confidence, resilience and positive relationships.
This is a full-time role starting on a supply basis through Vision for Education and is highly likely to become a permanent position for the right person, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to establish themselves within a supportive and rewarding setting.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that meet the needs of students within an Alternative Provision setting.
- Use sport and physical activity to promote confidence, teamwork and positive behaviour.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced barriers to learning.
- Deliver creative and inclusive lessons that encourage participation and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams and other professionals to support student progress.
- Help create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have relevant experience teaching PE.
- Have experience working with children or young people with additional behavioural or learning needs (desirable).
- Be confident managing behaviour and building positive relationships.
- Be passionate about helping young people achieve their potential.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
