Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Location: East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS)
Contract Type: Full Time – Permanent
Start Date: October 2026

Vision for Education are working in partnership with a successful and well-regarded secondary school in the East Riding to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join their team in teaching Boys PE from October 2026.

This is a temporary fixed term role for a motivated teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging PE lessons and inspiring students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The successful candidate will initially work through Vision for Education on a supply basis, althought there is a possibility .

The Role

The school is seeking a committed Physical Education Teacher who can:

• Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assess, monitor and support student progress
• Contribute to the wider life of the department and school community
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Physical Education Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching Science within a secondary setting
• Be confident teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students
• Possess strong classroom management skills
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Be passionate about improving outcomes for young people
