£121.50 - £158.45 per day (salary dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
A welcoming primary school in the Guisborough (TS14) area is seeking to appoint a passionate and adaptable PPA Teacher to work on a part-time basis. The school has a supportive leadership team and a positive learning environment where staff work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Working across a range of year groups, the successful candidate will provide high-quality cover for teachers during their Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time. The role will involve delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour, and ensuring continuity of education across the school.
This is a long-term contract running from September 2026 to April 2027.
Requirements
The desired PPA Teacher will have:
- PGCE with QTS
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting
- The flexibility and confidence to teach across different year groups
- A passion for supporting the progress and development of primary-aged pupils
- Strong classroom management skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
