Vision for Education is recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Classroom Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in West Kirby from September 2026.

The successful candidate will work predominantly within Key Stage 2, supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons while providing additional support to individual pupils and small groups.

The role

As a Primary Classroom Assistant, you will:

• Support teaching and learning within a Key Stage 2 classroom.

• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence.

• Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils remain engaged throughout the school day.

• Assist with preparing learning resources and classroom activities.

• Help create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment where every child can succeed.

About you

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting.

• Be patient, caring and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for supporting young learners.

• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Be confident building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
