The Role

As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure pupils remain engaged in their learning.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Provide support to pupils where needed and encourage positive learning outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and school staff.

We're Looking For

• Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting.
• Confident classroom management and strong communication skills.
• A positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude.
• The ability to follow lesson plans and work independently.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references covering recent employment.

A teaching qualification is not essential, making this role ideal for those looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching.
