About the Role

Vision for Education are currently recruiting Primary Cover Supervisors to work across a range of primary schools in Southend and the surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience working with children who enjoys the classroom environment and is confident taking responsibility for a class in the absence of the usual teacher.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.

• Experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting
• Confidence managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour
• The ability to follow and deliver pre-planned lessons
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A calm, patient and professional approach
• Reliable and adaptable, with the ability to work across different schools
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
