Contract: Long-term with Daily and Short Term Opportunities available.
Salary: £2000 – £2750 per month (dependent on experience and scale point).
Qualification: QTS required.
The School and Role
Are you an experienced Year 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next opportunity from September 2026? I am recruiting to support a Year 4 class in a great school in Bury.
Whether you are looking for a long-term role or the opportunity to gain experience across different school settings, we can help you find the right position.
Alternatively you could be an ECT who has Year 4 experiene that is happy to work as a HLTA to cover a maternity. You will work closely with the oither class teacher to support pupils' learning, deliver planned lessons, lead small group interventions, and provide whole-class cover when required. You will play an important role in helping pupils develop confidence, make progress across the curriculum, and prepare for the transition into upper Key Stage 2.
You will be supported by experienced school leaders, dedicated teaching staff, and an experienced education consultant throughout your placement.

Requirements
To be considered for these Higher Level Teaching Assistant opportunities, you should have:
- Experience as a HLTA or covering whole classes.
- A passion for teaching and supporting children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Strong communication skills and confidence leading a class.
- A positive, flexible and reliable attitude.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Available for Maternity Cover - at Least 9 months or full academic year.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- HLTA - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
QTS - Experience
