EYFS Teacher – Full Time – September 2026

DL3 Area (Darlington) – £121 to £149 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our successful supply team and work within a welcoming primary school in the DL3 Darlington area.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday during school hours. The successful candidate will take responsibility for an EYFS class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils' early learning, development, and wellbeing.

The role will commence in September 2026 and is ongoing, with the potential to become long-term depending on the needs of the school.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Previous experience teaching within EYFS, particularly Reception, would be advantageous.

The Role

Working as part of a supportive and experienced teaching team, the desired EYFS Teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality learning opportunities for young pupils.

Responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.
• Creating a positive, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment.
• Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress.
• Supporting children's development across all areas of learning.
• Differentiating learning activities to meet the needs of all learners.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive attitudes.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies where required.
• Supporting pupils' personal, social, and emotional development.
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and a love of learning.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school community.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Have high expectations of children's achievement and progress.
