About the Role
Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Primary KS2 Teacher to work within a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Darlington DL1 area.
This role involves teaching within a KS2 classroom, working closely with pupils and school staff to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, supporting pupils' academic progress, and ensuring all children are able to access learning and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress through effective teaching and feedback.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive attitudes to learning.
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents where appropriate.
- Prepare engaging resources and contribute to wider school activities.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally within Key Stage 2.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and caring approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
- A commitment to supporting children's learning and development.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
