This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday during school hours. The successful candidate will take responsibility for an Early Years Foundation Stage class, delivering engaging, creative, and play-based learning experiences that support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development during the early stages of their education.

The role will commence in September 2026 and continue until April 2027.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.

The Role

Working as part of a supportive and experienced teaching team, the desired EYFS Teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality learning opportunities that inspire curiosity and foster a love of learning.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS Framework.
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Supporting children's learning and development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress using formative assessment.
  • Building strong relationships with children, parents, and carers to support learning and wellbeing.
  • Differentiating activities to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Managing classroom behaviour positively and promoting independence and confidence.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies where required.
  • Supporting children's personal, social, emotional, and language development.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school community.

The successful candidate will be passionate about early years education, committed to providing high-quality learning experiences, and able to inspire children to achieve their full potential.
