£121.50 – £158.45 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
This welcoming primary school, based in the TS10 area, is looking to appoint a passionate Mixed Year 5/6 Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The school has a friendly, supportive staff team and a positive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Working as part of an established teaching team, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for a mixed Year 5/6 class, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. The role will involve planning, teaching and assessing the Key Stage 2 curriculum while meeting the needs of learners across both year groups. This is a long-term temporary position running from September 2026 until July 2027.
Requirements
The desired Teacher will have:
- PGCE with QTS
- Experience teaching within a primary school, ideally in Key Stage 2
- A passion for supporting the progress and achievement of primary-aged pupils
- Confidence in planning, delivering and assessing the Key Stage 2 curriculum, including mixed-age classes
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
