Year 6 Primary Teacher
DL3 Area – Full Time
£121.50 – £158.45 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
September 2026 – July 2027
The School and Role
This welcoming primary school, based in the DL3 area, is looking to appoint a passionate Year 6 Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The school has a friendly, supportive staff team and a positive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Working as part of an established teaching team, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Year 6 class, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school. This is a long-term temporary position running from September 2026 until July 2027.
Requirements
The desired Teacher will have:
- PGCE with QTS
- Experience teaching within a primary school, ideally in Key Stage 2
- A passion for supporting the progress and achievement of primary-aged pupils
- Confidence in planning, delivering and assessing the Year 6 curriculum
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
